1. Introduction

Ente Peedika is operated by Suhail A K as an individual in Kerala, India. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, stored and protected across our main website, seller onboarding, seller dashboards and hosted storefronts. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions.

2. Roles and scope

We determine processing purposes for our accounts, subscriptions, platform security, analytics, fraud investigations and administration. Sellers independently determine purposes relating to their own product sales, delivery and customer service; we may process storefront customer data to supply the software and for legitimate Platform operations. Exact legal roles depend on actual processing and applicable law.

3. Information collected

Seller information: names, email addresses, telephone numbers, store and business details, location, Instagram links, account and login records, subscription choices, invoices, UPI references, support requests and reasonably necessary identity or business verification documents.

Customer information: names, telephone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses, product and quantity details, order amounts, order status, payment references or seller-reported payment status, order history, delivery, cancellation, refund and complaint records.

Technical and analytics information: IP addresses, device and browser details, session identifiers, store visits, product views, interactions, order analytics, error reports and security logs. We do not intend to collect complete payment-card numbers, banking passwords or UPI PINs for customer purchases.

4. Why we process information

We use relevant information to create and secure accounts; host storefronts; support ordering and fulfillment; send transactional messages; administer subscriptions and commissions; verify payments and seller identities; detect fraud and order manipulation; investigate complaints; provide analytics; troubleshoot and improve services; respond to support requests; and comply with law. Marketing messages will be sent only where legally permitted and supported by required consent.

We will provide appropriate notices and seek consent where required by applicable law; acknowledgment of this Policy alone does not authorize every processing purpose.

5. Customer contact for verification

We may contact customers where lawful and reasonably necessary to confirm whether an order was completed or cancelled, investigate suspicious cancellations or commission evasion, resolve complaints, or respond to security incidents. Contact will be proportionate to the purpose and will not be used as a pretext for unrelated advertising. Relevant verification records may be retained as necessary for investigations and disputes.

6. Limits on seller use of customer data

Sellers may access customer data only to fulfill orders, coordinate delivery, provide support, manage returns or refunds and meet related legal obligations. Our Platform rules prohibit sellers from using customer data obtained through Ente Peedika for unrelated marketing, resale, unsolicited promotions or unauthorized disclosure. Sellers remain independently responsible for lawful data handling.

7. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies or similar technologies may support authentication, sessions and security. Analytics may measure visits, product views, sales performance and device/browser usage. Non-essential tracking is subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. We will disclose any specific advertising trackers or cookie controls when implemented rather than imply that such tools already exist.

8. Transactional and marketing communications

We may send account verification, order confirmations, order updates, subscription reminders, payment notices, security alerts and support messages through email, SMS or WhatsApp providers. Promotional communications will be sent only with the legal basis and consent required for that communication, and applicable opt-out or withdrawal mechanisms will be provided.

9. Sharing of information

We may share relevant information with: the seller responsible for an order; hosting, infrastructure, email, messaging, analytics, security and payment providers; professional advisers; lawful authorities; and parties reasonably involved in a complaint or fraud investigation. Sharing is limited to legitimate purposes and appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

10. Cross-border processing

Some service providers may store or process data outside India. We will assess applicable cross-border restrictions and safeguards before using such providers. This Policy does not claim that all data is stored only in India.

11. Security

We use or plan appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as authenticated access, role-based permissions, secure connections, access restrictions for identity documents, logging, backup and incident response. No internet service is completely risk-free. Users should protect credentials and report suspicious activity promptly.

12. Data retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to operate services, maintain order and billing records, prevent fraud, handle disputes and meet legal requirements. Following account closure, data no longer needed will be deleted or anonymized. Certain transaction, accounting, security and dispute records may be retained longer where required or justified. Specific retention schedules must be finalized and implemented before launch.

13. Seller exports and account closure

Sellers may export or request exports of their own product catalogue, store information, order records and customer records they are lawfully entitled to receive. Exports may be limited to protect others' rights. Sellers must secure exported information. Account closure disables the storefront and triggers appropriate retention, deletion or anonymization procedures.

14. Privacy rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request information about processing, correction, updates, erasure, withdrawal of consent where relevant, and grievance assistance. Contact [email protected]. We may verify identity before acting and will comply with applicable response timelines. Withdrawal of necessary consent may limit certain features. Customer requests about a seller's independently held records may also require contacting that seller.

15. Children

Sellers must be 18 or older. Customer storefronts may be accessed by minors; any processing of children's personal information must follow applicable safeguards, including parental consent where legally required. We do not intend to conduct prohibited tracking, behavioral monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

16. Data breaches

We will investigate suspected personal-data breaches, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, and notify affected individuals or regulators where required by applicable law.

17. External services

Storefronts may link to social media, delivery providers, payment applications and other third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We remain responsible for our own processing as required by law but do not control all independent third-party activities.

18. Changes to this Policy

We ordinarily provide 15 days' advance notice of material non-urgent changes, with shorter notice where urgent security or legal action is necessary. We will publish updated version details and obtain fresh consent or provide additional notices where legally required.

19. Complaints and contact

For access, correction, deletion, privacy complaints or security concerns, contact [email protected]. The designated grievance or privacy officer's legally required name and contact information will be published where applicable. Operator: Suhail A K, Kerala, India. Website: https://entepeedika.com.
